Carolyn Wagoner Turner

Carolyn was born on January 7, 1932 in Loves Park, IL to Lynn and Ella Wagoner. Carolyn passed on May 28, 2021 following a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, late husband(s) Richard Acton and Victor Turner; stepson Steven and daughter Julie, who passed 23 days prior to Carolyn's death.

Carolyn has lived in the desert since the early 1970's. She gave of herself to many desert charities and was President of Children's Hospital of Orange County. She loved organizing luncheons, charitable events, fundraising activities and loved to entertain in a lavish style both in the desert and Orange County. Her etiquette was as perfect as she was glamorous. She loved to look good and did she ever! She will definitely bring the "bling" to heaven.

She is survived by her daughter Martie Acton, stepson John (Luann) Turner, daughter in-law Patty (Steven) numerous nieces and nephews.

Joint services for Carolyn and Julie will be held at 11AM Thursday July 1 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church 1020 Ramon Rd, Palm Springs. Visitation at 10.
