Jan 9, 1976 - Nov 3, 2015 Mr. Christopher Johns Flynn, age 39 of Birmingham Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, November 3rd, 2015. Chris was born in Birmingham, Alabama on January 9, 1976.

He is survived by his Father, Robert Flynn, Mother, Sally Flynn, his sister, Jennifer Flynn Cataldo, Brother In-Law, Daniel Cataldo, and nephew, Flynn Cataldo (who adored his uncle). Chris is also survived by his two Aunts, Rebecca Crenshaw and Nancy Ford, along with many cherished cousins.

Chris attended W.A. Berry High School and graduated in 1994. Chris had a strong work ethic and was employed in the restaurant industry for over twenty-five years. He started as a bus boy and worked his way up to become an operating partner of a large restaurant chain. Along the way, he served as a mentor to many in the industry. It was through his charismatic and charming personality that helped him excel in his job and in friendships during his lifetime. He knew true friendship and had a way of making people feel special by being a great listener and storyteller. When you were with Chris, his laughter and humor were so infectious that you always felt better than you did before you spent time with him. He will be missed daily by those that knew him and loved him, especially his parents and sister. We will all miss him!

Arrangements are Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Ridout's Valley Chapel, 1800 Oxmoor Road, Homewood AL 35209. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am, with the Funeral to follow 12:00 pm. The Funeral will be presided over by Father Bob Sullivan of Saint Frances Xavier Catholic Church. In Lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 666795.
