Doris Dale Henderson, 63, of Raeford, passed away on July 15, 2021 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital
She was born on May 1, 1958 in Cumberland County.
Doris was a member of Piney Grove Holiness Church and was part of the choir and the women's group. She enjoyed reading her Bible, spending time with family and attending church. She was one of a kind and to know her was to truly love her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William "Jun" Locklear and Grace Eva Locklear; her grandmother, Pash Locklear; and her step-father, Norman "Pap" Locklear.
Doris is survived by her husband, Donald Henderson of the home; her children: Connie Jones of Raeford, Felisa Locklear of Raeford, Josh Henderson of Shannon, and Larry Dean Fulmer of Maxton; her mother, Grace Eva Locklear of Sanford; her siblings: Wanda Locklear, Barbara Burford, Dallas Locklear, Dock Locklear, and Buster Locklear; eight grandchildren: Saca, Solomon, Gle, Taylor, Kirty, Kelsey, Nolly, and Vannah; two great-grandchildren, Toot and James; and a host of relatives and friends.
The funeral services will be held in Piney Grove Independent Holiness Church, 1637 Andrews Road, Red Springs, NC 28377.
