The will (dated 7 Apr 1897) of Minnie Crain Drysdale made provision for a "good solid iron fence around the graves of my mother, father, & all my sisters, & brother".

DRYSDALE. Died 1897. Minnie Drysdale, formerly of Jerseyville, died in San Francisco, CA. Her husband Dr. G. N. Drysdale arrived here with the remains and funeral was held from Lebanon church. Rev. Porter officiating. She died from the effects of an operation. Mrs Drysdale was the youngest of 8 daughters of Mr. & Mrs. Silas Crane who have long since been laid to rest in Jersey County. She was the last of the family, all of her sisters having died of consumption. She left Jersey County some years ago due to her health. She was married to John Permar and later married Dr. G. N. Drysdale, both in California.
