Jody Creed Harmon, of Liberty, passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2021, in Danville, Kentucky. He was 52.

Born on May 22, 1969, in Aurora, Illinois, he was the son of the late William and Mary Alice Justice Harmon. Jody was a brick mason. He enjoyed fishing, camping, singing bluegrass gospel music, and spending time with his kids and grandkids.

He is survived by two daughters, Whitney (Michael) Cash of Perryville and Dezarae Wethington of Danville; five grandchildren, Addison, Carson, Nathan, Aurora, and Devin; a sister, Lexi Harmon of Liberty; and a brother, William Harmon of Liberty. Other survivors include three half-sisters, Linda Roberts, Virginia Shea, and Margaret Kessinger, all of Versailles; and two half-brothers, Vernon Harmon and Roger Harmon.

In addition to his parents, Jody is preceded in death by his wife, Linda King Harmon, who passed away on April 18, 1994; a sister, Lori Harmon; and a brother, Vincent Harmon.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, July 19, 2021, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Cochran officiating. Burial will follow in King Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Monday, July 19, 2021, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Willie Harmon, Michael Cash, Jamie King, Donnie Sellards, B.J. Grider, and Brandon Robinson.

Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
