Camp Point, Ill., Oct. 5.--Mrs. William Hardy died Tuesday morning at her home in Camp Point.
The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock in the Camp Point Methodist Church, in charge of the Rev. C. A. Sullivan, of Blandinsville, a former Camp Point minister.
Mrs. Hardy, the former Harriett Newell Wright, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Wright, was born December 11, 1871, in Adams county. She was married in 1893 to William Hardy. They lived for many years at Loraine and sixteen years ago came to Camp Point. She was a member of the Loraine Methodist church, but had been active in the work of the church at Camp Point.
Mrs. Hardy was the mother of eight children. a son, Joe, died in 1927 at Camp Point. She leaves her husband; seven children, David Hardy, Porcus Hardy, and Mrs. Alma Richey, of Camp Point; Russell Hardy, of Bloomington, Albert Hardy and Mrs. Harriett Rowland of Quincy, and Mrs. Sarah Prieb, of Chicago; eleven grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Nannie Russcoin, of Grand Rapids, Mich.
