He was born November 30, 1940 in Grannis. He was an auctioneer, carpenter, and loved peddlin his fruit.
Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents, Otho and Frankie Pauline (Burke) Jones; his wife, Dorothy Jones; one brother, Tom Jones; and a special uncle, Sonny Burke.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Frachiseur Jones; one sister, Paula "Midge" and Joe Daniels; 6 children and their spouses, Kenney and Mona Cecil, Jesse and Donna Jones, Penny Craig and Jeff Turner, Georgia Dale and Billy Willis, Janet and Jimmy Morphew and Chuck and Frances Cornett; grandchildren, Donovan Jones, Dustin Jones, Matthew Jones, Stephanie Cecil, James Lee and Krystal Cecil, Lisa and Ronny McEuen, Justin and Tabitha Craig, Jeremy and Tiffany Craig, Jeremy Willis, Stephanie Cornett and Jimmy Smedley, Jarred and Amanda Morphew, Heath and April Morphew, Clint and Bridgett McMillian, Seth and Molly Cornett; 25 great-grandbabies; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Jones will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday February 20, 2021 in the Wilkerson Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Steven Chenoweth officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Grove Cemetery in Grannis, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
