Also preceded in death is his brother, Daniel Hatfield and his son Glen Hatfield and his Father and Mother-In-Law Harry & June Eddy.
He is survived by his wife Judy (Eddy) Hatfield, Daughter Ginger (Ross) Morrison, Son, Mark Hatfield, Sister, DeLois (Bobby) Bratton, Brother, Sam (Tammy) Hatfield and Sister-In-Law, Mary Hatfield. He has 8 grandchildren and three Great Grandchildren and many Nieces and Nephews.
David graduated from high school in Byrdstown, TN., and also graduated from Appalachian Bible Institute in Bradley WV., where he met the love of his life of 51 years.
He and his family have lived in Grant County since 1972. He retired from PCA in Gas City in 2013. He also served as a volunteer EMT for several years at the Gas City Rescue Squad. David loved the Lord and was a member of Twin City Bible Baptist Church, where he taught Sunday school classes in his younger years and served as a greeter in his later years. David loved his family, gardening, rummaging and fishing.
There will be a Memorial Celebration of Life service July 18, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Twin City Bible Baptist Church, 7252 South Meridian St., Marion, IN., as his body was donated to I.U. School of Medicine for anatomical education.
