Bobby Wayne Strickland, 79, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Pruitt Health. He was born January 6, 1942 in Horry County, a son of the late William Caine and Restie Marlowe Strickland.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, William, Jim, Elgie, Rufus, James, Sally, Navada, Elnita, Marie, Shelby and Flora.
Bobby was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was a member of Loris FWB Church where he enjoyed serving his Lord and Savior and witnessing to others. An avid outdoorsman, he loved to hunt and fish. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends at Russell's store.
Mr. Strickland is survived by his wife, Jackie Richardson Strickland; children, Dean Strickland (Pamela), Todd Strickland (Amy), Sheila Hawley (William), Tammy Jackson (Dwayne Soles), Jacquline Hilburn (Daryal), Jodi Lawson (Jimmy) and Christy Perritte; seventeen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and many other family and friends who will miss him.
A Graveside Service will be held 1pm Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Westside Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Pastor Matt Renshaw officiating.
