A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 4:00 PM Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York. A viewing will be held from 3-4:00 PM Tuesday at the Funeral Chapel. Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, 535 S. High St., Hanover, PA.
Born July 15, 1928 in New Oxford, a son of the late Lester and Mary (Martin) Little; he was a 1946 graduate of Hanover High School. Mr. Little had worked at the former Schmidt & Ault Paper Co. and later retired from General Machine Works where he had worked the majority of his career. John had attended St. Joseph Catholic Church - York and was a member of York Antique Car Club. He enjoyed attending dirt track races at Williams Grove Speedway, watching NASCAR and loved fixing clocks.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Little is survived by a son, Michael A. and wife Abbie Little of Seven Valleys; two daughters, Victoria Fawley of Maryland and Rebecca and husband Samuel Balbeuna of Johnstown, PA; nine grandchildren; three great grandsons; and two brothers, Lester Little of Waynesboro and Donald and wife Christine Little of Hanover. He was preceded in death by a son, Anthony Little; and a sister, Delores Selby.
