Kyle D. Hamilton, age 30 of Hastings, died tragically on Saturday morning, July 10, 2021, in Hastings.
Kyle David, the son of Daniel and Barbara (Jahnke) Hamilton, was born in St. Paul on October 26, 1990. As a young boy, Kyle was active in 4-H, youth baseball and football. His love of hockey started early by playing on many community youth teams culminating as left wing (#19) during his high school years. Kyle also added four wheeling, snowmobiling, and being outdoors to his list of hobbies. Following his graduation from Hastings High School, he followed his dream and passion by working on vehicles, especially Chevy trucks. He was a great mechanic and a very talented detailer as well. Even though Kyle experienced many bumps and tough times throughout his life, his gentle and witty spirit will be cherished by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Richard Jahnke, and by his paternal grandparents, Richard and Charlotte Hamilton.
Kyle is survived by his loving parents, Barb Hamilton and Dan (Deb) Hamilton; siblings, Gina Hamilton and Ryan (Tina) Jahnke; grandmother, Joan Jahnke; and by many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 22, 2021, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Hastings, with Father David Hennen officiating. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery.
Family and friends are cordially invited to a visitation from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings, and also for one hour prior to Mass at church on Thursday.
