Larry Bennett, 73, of Groves, died Thursday, July 15, 2021, at Riceland Medical Center, Winnie. He was born July 10, 1948, to Virginia Ruth Williams Bennett and A.C. Bennett, in Beaumont.
Larry is survived by his children, Belinda Wood and husband, Robbie, of Winnie; Jeff Bennett and wife, Adriana, of Bryan; and Shane Bennett and wife, Alicia, of Beaumont; grandchildren, Ethan Bennett; Azlynn Fischer; and Sarah Wood; brothers, John Bennett and wife, Donia; Shawn Bennett and wife, Dusty; and Shannon Bennett and wife, Joleen.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Janet Bennett; and Debbie Shepherd.
A gathering of Mr. Bennett's family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Monday, July 19, 2021, at Broussard's, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His funeral mass will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at Immaculate Conception Church, 4100 Lincoln Avenue, Groves. Cremation arrangements are being handled through Broussard's Crematorium, Beaumont.
