Nixon—Funeral services for Richard B. Caraway, who died on Thursday at Colonial Nursing Home, were held on Saturday, Sept. 10 at 10:30 a.m. at Finch Chapel. The Rev. Winston Coones officiated, with interment in the Union Hill cemetery.
Mr. Caraway was born on July 7, 1889 in Gonzales, to Buck and Lenora Barnes Caraway. He was married to Evie Cook, who preceded him in death in 1931. On Sept. 4, 1940 he was married to Annie Moravits in Karnes City, and they lived near Nixon, where he was a farmer.
