Wilma spent most of her early years in Houston and Southeast Texas before moving to Hope, Arkansas in the 80's. She married her husband, Elton Brady Johnson Sr. in 1955 and they were together 36 years before his death in 1991. Wilma was a homemaker for most of her life. She was a protective mother who was always making sure her kids were well taken care of. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and keeping a spotless house. Wilma was a mother of three children, a Grandma to eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Following her service in Silsbee, she will be brought back to Arkansas to be laid to rest near her mother at Union Cemetery in Bodcaw. Wilma was truly loved by her family and will be deeply missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her late husband.
