Mrs. Catherine Poole McGinnis, esteemed resident of 133 Robert street, Sheatown, passed away this morning at 5:30 at the family home. She was stricken with a heart attack several days ago.
Mrs. McGinnis was born and reared at Newport Center the daughter of the late George and Rose (Krommeso) Belles, early residents of that section. She resided all of her life in Sheatown and was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Alden, and the Spanish-American War Veterans' Auxiliary of Nanticoke.
Surviving are, two daughters, Mrs. Laura Smerski, Sheatown, and Mrs. Florence Poole, at home; a sister, Mrs. Ella Poole, Sheatown, two grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral will be held from the home on Thursday afternoon at 2 with services in charge of Rev H. O. Boon, minister of St Andrew's Church. Interment will be in Newport Center cemetery.
