Edward Dee Adams, affectionately known to family and friends as D-Boy, left his early life on July 15, 2021. He was born on June 15, 1943 in Bryan County, Oklahoma. He moved with his family to Dodd City, Texas in 1949. He married his high school sweetheart, Joan Fletcher, in 1960 and after graduating from Dodd City High School in 1961, they moved to Dallas, Texas. He started working for Collins Radio where he worked for 31 years before retiring. He loved to sing and entertain his family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, working on tractors and watching the Dallas Cowboys.

He is survived by his wife, Joan, daughters Dede Dare, Dana Thompson and Darla Adams, brother Garry Adams, sisters Geraldine Hilliard, Patsy Angell, grandchildren, Jesse Cervantes, Collin Christensen, Dylan Dare, Olivia Menjivar, Will Thompson, Teddy Dare, Marissa Figueroa, Wyneth Thompson, also surviving are 5 great-grandchildren; 14 nephews and 7 nieces. He is preceded in death by his parents Alice and J.C. Adams, brothers Kenneth Adams, Larry Adams, sisters Joann Clark, Martha McManis and Retha Adams. He will be forever missed by a host of friends and family.
