Charlotte Jo Taylor Ritchie Johnson, 83, passed away peacefully on October 20, 21 in Vernon, Texas. She was the wife of Ronald G. Johnson and they shared forty-four years together. She was a resident of Wichita Falls, Texas and retired from Hospice of Wichita Falls after twelve years in 2003.
Charlotte enjoyed sewing, baking, and crafting. She will be remembered for her caring, sassy, comforting, and joyful personality. She always loved to say she was blessed with a great and loving family.
She is preceded in death by her parents L. Suell Taylor and Agnes J. Taylor, her first husband of eighteen years, Adrian Ritchie, her son-in-law Glen E. Solomon, Jr., and her grandson Walter P. Smith.
Charlotte is survived by her husband Ronald G. Johnson. Lovingly remembered by her children Teresa L. Ritchie Solomon, Jeannine Ritchie Smith, son-in-law Ray Smith, Ronald Johnson, David Johnson, Steve Johnson, Melissa Johnson Chastaine and spouses. In addition to ten grandchildren, and spouses, eleven great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchildren.
No funeral service and a celebration of life for immediate family will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flower, donations may be made in her name to Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson Rd., Wichita Falls, Texas 76310.
