Charles C. "Charlie" Relyea Sr., 55, of Kingston died suddenly Friday July 8, 2011 at the Kingston Hospital. Born in Newburgh, September 24, 1955 he is the son of the late Howard and Jeannien Bonestell Relyea.
Charlie was a graduate of Highland High School class of 1975. He was employed Command Security, was a former Security Guard at the Hudson Valley Mall, and worked for the Ulster County Sheriff Department division of corrections.
Charlie was a Ham Radio operator call sign KCZQFU, an avid outdoorsnan he enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, a computer gamer accomplished at "World of War Craft". A past member of A H Wicks Hose volunteer Fire company, and Kingston exempt firemen.
Surviving are his wife Mary Ann Limbert Relyea, a daughter Rebecca Jean Relyea of Florida, and a son Charles C. Relyea Jr. of Kingston. Brothers, and sisters, Howard R. Relyea (Lisa) of Highland, John Relyea (Nicole), of Cairo, Linda Relyea of Florida, Gail Burris (Donald), of Salt Point, and Barbara Simon (Michael) of Kingston. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, also survive.
