Hope Johnson
Hope Johnson, 65, of 634 N. High St., Lancaster, died Friday at Lancaster Fairfield Community Hospital.
She was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and a retired bookkeeper.
She is survived by two daughters, Terry Johnson and Laura Johnson, both of Lancaster; one son and daughter-in-law, Dewey and Vickie Johnson of Bethel Park, Pa.; three grandchildren; three brothers, and two sisters-in-law, Gene and Patty Gehres of San Diego, Calif., Dave Gehres of Alaska, and the Rev. Phil and Jerry Gehres of New York; two sisters, and one brother-in-law, Judy and Gerry Doner of Stoutsville, and Blanche Beacher of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Dewey Johnson, and her parents died previously.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Sheridan Funeral Home, with the Rev. Anthony J. Ruble officiating. Burial will be in Forest Rose Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
