William Harlen Wiggins, age 82, husband of Wilma Jean McKenney Wiggins, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2021, at Harrison Memorial Hospital, in Cynthiana, Kentucky. Born March 13, 1939, in Harrison County, Kentucky, to the late Herman Phillip and Lou Ella Chandler Wiggins, he was a lifelong farmer and longtime member of Pleasant Green Baptist Church, where he served as deacon for more than 50 years. Billy was an avid pocket knife collector, who loved raising a garden and growing things. He took great pride in producing a stellar crop, be it tomatoes, corn or tobacco.

Additional survivors include: two children, Angie (Richard) Kendall, of Harrison County, and Billy (Renee) Wiggins, of Georgetown; four grandchildren, Mary Catherine Kendall, Emily (Adam) Roberts, Ryan (Danna) Wiggins and Anna Kate Wiggins; a very dear friend, Dr. A.C. Wright; and several nieces and nephews. Also preceding him in death were five older sisters, Eugenia Fuller, Margaret Stroub, Anna Garnett Hampton, Allene Wade and Mary Lou Stroub.

Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, July 19, at Pleasant Green Baptist Church by Bro. Richard Kendall, Bro. Jimmy Sears and Bro. Rob Stanley, with burial to follow in Battle Grove Cemetery. Casket bearers will be John Carson, Lane Franklin, Ronnie Franklin, Jon Devin Phillips, Curtis Wells and Ryan Wiggins. Honorary bearers will be the deacons of Pleasant Green Baptist Church. Visitation will be after 5:00 p.m. Sunday at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home. Memorial contributions are suggested to Pleasant Green Baptist Church, 387 Pleasant Green Road, Cynthiana, Kentucky 41031.
