Robert L. Owens Jr., 66, of Brighton, Illinois, passed away Monday, July 12, 2021.

He was born June 18, 1955 in Alton, Illinois, the son of Robert L. and Patricia M. (Davis) Owens. He is survived by his long time companion Susan Hubbard; daughter, Christy (Eric) Morales, Taylorsville, Utah; five grandchildren; his parents; brothers, Herbert C. (Kim) Owens of St. Charles, Illinois, and James F. (Sarah) Owens of Brighton, Illinois; sisters, Melissa M. (Timothy) Sykes and Claire J. Pugsley of Brighton, Illinois; 11 nieces and nephews; along with 12 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Mae Davis & Herbert and Janette Owens; also a uncle, Charles S. Davis.

Bob (Link) attended Alton Schools, served in the US Army, and spent the rest of his life as an over the road truck driver. He enjoyed nationwide scenery and the outdoors. He was loved and will be missed by the entire family.

Cremation was by his wishes. No visitation or services.
