Joyce Stone Mills, 74 years and 18 days of age, of Clarkrange, Tennessee, departed this life on Monday, September 21st, 2020 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Joyce was born on Tuesday, September 3rd, 1946, daughter of the late John Otto and Gussie Worley Stone.

Joyce was survived by her loving husband, Roger Mills; two daughters, Teresa (and her husband, Jeff) Norris and Lisa Lynn Mills; one son, Johnnie (and his wife, Amanda) Mills; four grandchildren, Joshua Keith Mills, Jessie Lee Mills, Jade Kyra Mills, and Jackson Charles Mills; two step-grandchildren, Mark Norris and Jessica Norris; four brothers, Richard (and his wife, Kim) Stone, Ronald "Slim" Stone, Roland "Tubby" Stone, and Fred Hugh Stone; three sisters, Nellie (and her husband, Tom) Allred, Lois Thornton, and Annie Dishman; and a host of other family and friends who mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto Stone, who departed this life on July 28th, 1967 and Gussie Stone, who departed this life on March 24th, 1993; four sisters, Hester Christeen Stone, who departed this life on July 15th, 1932, Gearidine Stone, who departed this life on November 15th, 2006, Dora Ellen Stone Garrett, who departed this life on Monday, January 26th, 2015, and Doris Jean Stone Hall, who departed this life on August 27th, 2015; and two brothers, Lonnie Chester Stone, who departed this life on April 28th, 2000 and Ray Franklin Stone, who died in infancy on Christmas Eve, December 24th, 1934.

Visitations were held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 23rd, 2020 at the Jennings Funeral Home in Jamestown, Tennessee.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 24th, 2020 in the Chapel of the Jennings Funeral Home.

Burial followed in the Mount Helen Cemetery in Fentress County, Tennessee.
