Gertrude E. (Whispell) Henderson, 72, of Albany Avenue (Wiltwyck Gardens), Kingston, NY., died at her home Saturday night April 9, 2011. Born in Kingston August 22, 1938 she is the daughter of the late David and Linda Dietrich Whispell.
Employed for many years by IBM in the maintainence division at the Poughkeepsie and Kingston locations. She was also employed by the Kingston Hospital Housekeeping department until her retirement. She was an avid bingo player, and also enjoyed boating, car shows, was a member of the Catskill Mountain Classic Car Club, and a member of the skulls. Surviving are two daughters, Kathy Jamison of Lake Katrine, Brenda Calavecchio of West Virginia, three sons, Kenneth Boudreau of Town of Ulster, Kevin Boudreau of Kingston, and Gary Spaulding of Jacksonville Florida. Brothers and sisters; Janice Hatfield of Saugerties, Patricia Richters, Kingston, Irving Whispell, Kingston, Linda Todd, Washington State, Nancy Kloss, Kingston, Barbara Lattrell, Kingston, Joann Malloy, New Jersey, Jackie Wurster, Florida. Her niece and care giver, Donna Haines of Kingston. Four grandchildren; Brian Long, Susan Shaver, Kevin Boudreau ll, Adam Boudreau. Great grandsons, Brian Long Jr., and Lucas Shaver., Many nieces nephews also survive. She is the wife of the late Kenneth Boudreau and Gilbert Henderson. Two brothers, David and Bob Whispell predeceased her.
