Thomas Hazelwood Jr., 67, died Tuesday, October 27, 1998 at the VA Hospital in Lexington. Born March 2, 1931 in Clark County, he was the son of the late Thomas and Sally Carrie Lunsford Hazelwood. He was a farmer and a member of the Kirkwood Baptist Church. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion Post 52. Survivors include: three brothers, Carl and Charles (Kenny) Hazelwood, Mercer County, and Howard Hazelwood, Frankfort; three sisters, Donna Gash, Dorothy Sue Cinnamon and Linda Sheperson, all of Mercer County. Funeral services were held Friday, October 30, 1998 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel with Rev. Larry Redding officiating. Burial will be in the Kirkwood Cemetery, Salvisa.
