Born March 3, 1915, in Bramwell, she was a daughter of the late Graham Moore and Alpha Roy Moore.
Mrs. Neel had been a resident of Nemours for 56 years and was a homemaker. She was a graduate of Bramwell High School.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David H. Neel Jr.; a daughter, Margaret Jean Cromer; three sisters and a brother.
Survivors include a brother, B.G. Moore of Bramwell; sister, Ruth Whitson of Knoxville, Tenn.; nephew, Donald Mahaffey of Knoxville; and niece, Genevieve Sue Lucas of True.
Graveside rites will be conducted at 1 p.m. today at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in BlueweIl with the Rev. D. Homer Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Those attending the graveside rites are asked to meet at Cravens Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell by 12:30 p.m. today.
