Miss Ethel Ada Barckley,90,died March 6 at Los Angeles. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Brice Herbert at Harry George Funeral Home Monday with burial in Washington city cemetery.
Miss Barckley used to live in Washington in a house torn down when Estabrook's Cafe was built. She moved to California about 30 years ago where she worked in a cafe for about 10 years.
While she lived here she took a niece Zola Barckley to raise. For a time they lived in Palmer,where Zola taught school. She is now Mrs. Zola Sportelli and lives in Los Angeles. Also here for services Monday was another niece, Mrs. Zella Larson of Olsburg.
