SHREVEPORT - Graveside services for Maggie Sorrells Drew, 77, of Shreveport, will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, October 30, at Forest Park Cemetery. The Rev. Carl Rhoads will officiate. Arrangements under the direction of Osborn Funeral Home, Shreveport.
She will lie in state from 12 noon Monday until service time Tuesday.
She died at 10:45 a.m., Friday, October 26, 1984, at Schumpert Medical Center after a lengthy illness. A native of Arkansas and resident of Shreveport since 1925, she was a member of the First United Methodist church and a Life Master of the American Contract Bridge League. She was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Newit J. Drew in 1974.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Vergie McRae of Mt. Vernon, Texas and Mrs. Mary R. Johnson of Dallas, Texas; several nieces.
