Patty met her husband, Sunny in 1962 while she was a dance instructor at Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Dallas, TX. After they married in 1965 Sunny and Patty opened their first car lot in West Dallas. For over 40 years Patty worked everyday, side by side, with her husband helping the under severed working class communities, in and around Dallas, with their transportation needs. All their married life they vacationed in Gulf Palms, on Galveston Island, eventually building a house there and have been there since 2013. Patty lived a full and adventured life. She loved to cook, and no one ever left her house without food she'd prepared. Patty loved county music, gathering with her many friends, dancing, and tending to her plants. Patty was a devoted wife and a great storyteller. She will be greatly missed by all.
Survivors - Husband of 57 years, James "Sunny" Holmes; nephew, Rob Carney of Aspen, CO.; and her beloved Maine Coon, "Bella".
