Carol Ann (Anderson) Jochimsen, 82, of DeWitt, Iowa, died Sunday afternoon, July 11, 2021, at her daughter's home, surrounded by family.

Carol was born May 3, 1939, to Alfred and Ann Anderson in Clinton, Iowa. She Graduated from DeWitt High School in 1957.

Carol married Paul E. Jochimsen on September 22, 1957, at Grace Lutheran Church, DeWitt.

Carol raised her children and helped on the family dairy farm.

She was a member of DeWitt Lutheran Fellowship and later attended Bethel Community Church in Sperry, Missouri.

The couple moved to Missouri in 1992. Paul preceded her in death on November 26, 2016.

Carol moved back to DeWitt in 2017.

Carol enjoyed reading, playing cards, and doing embroidery work, making baby quilts for all the grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. She loved the Lord, and was a faithful prayer warrior for her family.

She is survived by her children, Pam (Marlon) Kinrade, DeWitt, Sue (Merv) Crank, DeWitt, Stacy Stewart, Naples, Florida, Lisa (Brad) Geise, DeWitt, Jeff (Jennifer) Jochimsen, Greentop, Missouri; grandchildren, Sara (Robert) Young, Scott Kinrade, Sheldon (Liana) Kinrade, and Seth (Sarah) Kinrade, Jason (Anna) Crank and Amanda Baucom, April (Michael) Butler, Alicia Errico, and Travis Errico, Caitlin Geise and Clay Geise, and Patrick Jochimsen and Brandon Jochimsen; greatgrandchildren, Madison and Mackenzie Childers, William Young, Emoni Martin, Austin, Adrienne and Peyton Kinrade, Elias, Liam, Levi and Isla Kinrade, Nora, Ellie, Owen and Olivia Kinrade, and Braxton Lange; a sister, Patricia (Harold) Knutsen, Worthington, Iowa; brother-in-law, Martin Jochimsen, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Emmaus Road Church, 1811 Elmwood Road, DeWitt from 11:00 a.m. until 1:15 p.m. Friday, July 16, 2021. A service will be held at 1:30 p.m. in the church. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, DeWitt. A meal will be served following the committal in the church hall.
