Born in Windsor, Hants Co. on November 20, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Ivanho (Peach) Bezanson. Her professional career as a nurse's aide spanned almost 40 years, working at both the Payzant Memorial and Hants Community Hospitals where she took great pride in providing care for people in her community and surrounding areas. There she would be surrounded by people who would become lifelong friends. Always ready to laugh, both with others and at herself, she loved spending time with her family and friends, sharing coffee, old stories and smart remarks. Her witty nature was always present, and she was never shy about providing advice and her honest opinions. She enjoyed attending her son's hockey and softball games throughout the years where she would energetically lend her voice to the chorus of supporters. As someone who disliked travelling too far from home, she did love to daydream and once said the best part of travelling was simply sitting at the airport watching people come and go and wondering what adventurous stories they could tell. A devoted mother, proud Gramma, caring sister and fond aunt, Sharron is survived by her son, Bradley (Denise) Harvey, Wellington; daughter, Lori (Jay) Michaelson, England; grandsons, Joshua and Braden; sister, Suzette (Dave) Gairns, Leminster; nieces and nephews, Darrell (Janet) Leighton, Charmaine (Stephen) Lyttle, Annette (Darrell) Tingley, Garby (Julie) Dauphinee, Shira (Trevor) McCabe, Aimee (Kevin) Dauphinee; and several great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Madeline (Ernest) Leighton; first husband, Wilfred Harvey; second husband, Brian Etter; companion, Alvin Davis; and niece, Suzanne (Blanchard) Leighton. The family would like to extend its heartfelt gratitude to the medical staff at the Halifax Infirmary Units 8.1 and 8.2 for their professionalism and dedication in providing the highest level of respectful, compassionate, and dignified care that made Sharron's final hours peaceful – it meant so very much. In keeping with Sharron's wishes no formal funeral service will be held. Instead, a remembrance and graveside service will take place in Windsor Forks at a later date.
