Sheila (Gigi) Denise Evans is the daughter of Donald and Sarah Evans. She quietly departed this life on Saturday, July 3, 2021 in West Columbia, South Carolina.
Sheila graduated from Moss Point High School in 1990 and was an outstanding softball player for the City League. She was a caregiver and best friends to those around her. Her contributions not only strengthen the institution of family but redefined how one should love and show compassion towards children. She was a member of the Red Cross and an avid fisherman. She was very passionate and devoted to her nieces and nephews. Also, as a teen, she was a dedicated Girl Scout.
Sheila leaves to cherish her memories, her father, Donald Evans; mother, Sarah Evans; eight siblings, Patricia Smith of Moss Point, MS; Curtis Evans, Moss Point, MS; Debra Jones-Love (Scottie), Escatawpa, MS; Donald Evans, Jr. (Belinda), Gautier, MS; David Evans (Brenda), Moss Point, MS; Eddie Evans (Debra), West Columbia, SC; Joyce Evans, Reginald Evans, Moss Points MS; one special son, Markite Evans, Moss Point, MS; 17 nieces/nephews; 15 great nieces and nephews; family and friends.
