Born September 16, 1948 in Caribou, Maine, he was the son of Harry E. and Harriet R. (Jacobs) Anderson.
He served in the US Army during Vietnam.
Dennis worked as a custodian at the Northern Maine Vocational Tech. Institute in Presque Isle for many years. When he retired, he moved to New Hampshire to be closer to his brother, Bruce. While living in Presque Isle Dennis also served as a volunteer fire fighter for a number of years.
He was an active member of the Bethany Baptist Church in Presque Isle and taught Sunday school for several years.
Survivors include his siblings, Bruce Anderson of Rochester and Lynn Anderson of Chicopee, MA.
Private burial took place in Riverside Cemetery in Newmarket on July 8, 2021.
