She was born in Hoke County, NC on February 23, 1953.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Hubert Earl Henderson and Mary Alice Demery-Henderson; three brothers: Bender Ray Henderson, Kenneth Earl Henderson, and Johnny Henderson; and two sisters, Alice Fay Huggins and Mary Kay Locklear.
She is survived by two sisters, Nancy Blue and Catherine Oxendine; a brother, Woody Wayne Locklear; and several nieces and nephews.
The burial services will be held in Revels Funeral Home Chapel, Hwy 211, Lumberton, NC 28360. The burial services will be held at Lumbee Memorial Gardens, 774 Moss Neck Rd, Lumberton , NC 28360.
