Funeral services for Sandy Dixon, 66 of Palestine, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 17, 2021 in the Bailey & Foster Funeral Chapel with Bro. Richard Hinton officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.
Mr. Dixon passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler. He was born August 23, 1954 in Odessa, Texas to Lemuel Walter and Olivia Marie Cox Dixon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Randall Dixon and his grandson Jacob Dixon.
He is survived by his sons: Matthew Dixon & wife Laura and Thomas Dixon; his daughters Amber Dixon and Elizabeth Wilson & husband Joe; his grandchildren Hannah McDermott & husband Josiah, Haylie Dixon, Ronnie Bynum III, Hayden Dixon, Emma Dixon, Olivia Dixon, Nathan Wilson, Mia Wilson, Ashlyn Wilson, Jordon Wilson, Tiffany Reese, Jason Wilson and Justin Wilson.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Joe Wilson, Hayden Dixon, Ronnie Bynum, Joey McDermott, Collin Barton, Nathan Wilson and Brad Spaith.
A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Friday, July 16, 2021 at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.
