Sean Michael Harvey, 52, of Davenport, IA, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2021, after a tragic car accident in DeWitt, IA.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Sunday, July 18, at the Runge Mortuary. There will be a Celebration of Life Luncheon from 1 to 4pm at Hickory Grove Event Center Davenport, IA .Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 19, in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. He will be laid to rest in National Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to the family.
Sean was born May 31, 1969, to Gary and Linda (Farnsworth) Harvey in Davenport, IA., On September 18, 1999 he was united in marriage to Ty Ann Hart in Port Byron, IL. He proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1987-1991, deployed in Desert Storm with the 1st Calvary Division.
Sean had an amazing work ethic and was a Carpenter of Local #4, working for Precision Builders. There is no way to describe Sean in one word or one simple sentence. Sean was a man who never met a stranger, a man of his word, and always there to help people. He lived his life to the fullest. He always told you what you NEEDED to hear, not what you WANTED to hear. Sean had many enjoyments in life and "glamping" was one of them. Sean was and always will be the proudest Papa ever.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving and devoted wife, Ty Harvey; his beautiful children: Maze Harvey,Samantha (Lanny) Nichols, Sean Harvey II, Seth (Alana) Harvey, Brandon (Ashley) Harvey, and Jessica (Adam) Day; mother, Linda Harvey; sisters, Veronica Harvey and Denise Harvey; brothers Tom, Gary, and Bud Harvey; grandchildren: Paislie "Frog", Landen "Turtle", Ahbreonna "Power House", Laylah "Sassy", Kendalyn "Vegas", Brindlynn "Chones", Jace "Skivvies", Fallyn "Hollywood", arriving any day, Bentley, Jenna "Half Pint", Jameson "Little Man", and Wyatt "Turkey"; along with several nieces, nephews, and many special friends who were family.
