Sharpsburg - Beverly Ann Price, 82, of Sharpsburg, MD, passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. Born April 13, 1939 in Washington County, MD, she was the daughter of the late Helen Josephine (Beitler) Beasley and stepfather, Edward W. Beasley, Sr. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Leon Sowers Price, on May 12, 2019. She was a member of Salem Reformed Church. She was a devoted wife and mother dedicated to the care, comfort, and well-being of her family. She is survived by one brother, Ronald Monninger, Sr. (Bonnie); two sons, Dennis L. Price (Diane) and Perry W. Price (Denise); two daughters, Brenda S. Price and Debra A. Gladhill (Robert); and three grandchildren, Trevor A. Price, Catherine (Borngesser) Bromwell, and Kevin Griffin. The funeral service will be held at 2pm on Monday, July 19, 2021, with visitation one hour prior at Salem Reformed Church, 13182 Salem Church Rd., Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Eric Cox and Pastor Curtis Hendershot officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park immediately following the service. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
