Vera Sue King, 70, of Jay, OK, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Integris Grove Hospital Grove, OK. Vera was born on March 9, 1951 in Jay, OK to her parents, Johnny and Annie Black. She and her husband Wesley King were united in marriage for 52 years.
Sue attended school at Colcord Public Schools. She was also a long-standing member of Souls Harbor Ministry in Jay, OK. She enjoyed taking care of her family and the family farm. Sue loved taking vacations with her family and was the best homemaker to our family and could cook some of the best-fried chicken. She loved canning and spending time with her grandchildren.
Sue is preceded in death by her parents, Johnny B. and Annie B. Black; her in-laws, Joe and Daisy King; son, Joseph W. King; Siblings, Cecil Black and Johnny Earl Black.
