The Pathway Home
As I walk the pathway home,
Do not shed a single tear,
Nor carry the burden of bitter woe.
Pity me not, for I journey home
Amid the pathway of flowers in bloom.
As I walk the pathway home,
Do not dwell on my troubles and strife.
My load is lifted; my pain is gone.
Do not remember my darkest days,
But look to the garden where I shall soon roam.
As I walk the pathway home,
The road is now easy, the garden I behold.
It calls me home and I must travel on.
So, do not be sad, but rejoice,
The pathway I now walk leads me home.
