Lee passed away at his home in Independence from glioblastoma multiforme (GBM). He was the son of Vernon and Ruth Elaine (Overholt) Harris. He graduated from Central Bucks East High School in Pennsylvania in 1972 and John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas with a degree in Construction Management in 1976. He married Stephanie Plute on February 11, 1978. Survivors include his wife, his sons, Adam Harris and Austin Harris, four grandchildren, and his siblings, Gary Harris and Donna Delp. He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents, Olin and Flora Harris and Horace and Margaret Overholt. Funeral services were held at Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel in Coffeyville. Burial was in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
