Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 23rd at 11:00 AM in the Wiseman Mortuary Chapel. Burial to follow at Sandhills State Veteran Cemetery.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories: siblings, SGM (R) Rullie Vernon Haywood Jr. (Beverly), Robert Haywood (Chiquita), Weldon Haywood (Dianne Jean), Dennis Haywood (Brenda), Lillie McMillan (Timothy), Flerita Lewis (Linwood) and Laura McMillan; stepsister, Ella Mae Simmons; great uncle, Bishop D. W. Elliott; special friend, Barbara Keyes, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
There will be a viewing on Thursday, July 22nd from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the funeral home.
