Maxine G. Fitch, 90 passed away Monday July 12, 2021 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born in Jeremiah, KY to the late James D and Cora Lee Caudill.
Maxine graduated as the Salutatorian of Stuart Robinson High School in Jeremiah, KY in 1949. She married Marion L. "Leon" in 1955 and moved to Fort Wayne in 1958. Maxine worked at St. Joe Hessen Cassel School Cafeteria for ten years and Sears for ten years retiring in 1998. She is a member of Waynedale Baptist Church.
Maxine is survived by her children Dorinda A. (Gary) Engle of Uniondale, IN; Danny (Diane) Fitch, Arthur D. Fitch both of Fort Wayne, IN; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Marion L. Fitch, and three brothers and four sisters.
Funeral Service will be 10am Tuesday July 20, 2021 at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home 1140 Lake Ave. Fort Wayne, IN., with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also Monday July 19, 2021 from 5-8pm at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
