Died at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, at Sisters of St. Joseph Hospital, New Roads. He was 14 and a resident of Fordoche. Body at Niland Funeral Home, New Roads, after 2 p.m. Sunday. Religious services at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church, Livonia at 10 a.m. Monday. Burial in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Maringouin. Survivors include his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Higginbotham; one sister, Elaine Marie; and two brothers, Bobby Ray and Lonnie James Higginbotham, all of Fordoche. His father has been an employee of Armco Steel Co., Baton Rouge, for 20 years.
