Ernest was born August 7, 1936 in Great Falls, Montana to Thomas and Anna Ward. After radar training he worked overseas in Okinawa, Japan where he met and married Kimiko K. Ward in 1960 and they had one daughter and one son.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister; and his wife.
He is survived by his sister, his brother and 1 grandchildren.
