Brian Milton Ward 69 yrs. old of Edmeston, NY passed away peacefully with his family at his bedside at MIB Hospital, Cooperstown, NY on February 18, 2021.

Brian was born on June 27, 1951 in Niskayuna, NY the son of Milton & Elizabeth (Sterusky) Ward. His childhood was spent in Edmeston, NY and he was a 1970 graduate of Edmeston Central School.

Brian met his bride, Dalynn (Frink) Ward, on a blind date arranged by Evelyn (Chapin) Weis. The two were married on September 21, 1985 at the First United Methodist Church, New Berlin, NY.

Brian was the owner and operator of Wards Off Fire LLC providing fire protection to customers he truly cherished. He enjoyed working on old tractors and was looking forward to another season of tractor pulling with his dear friend, Jim Jarvis. He loved riding his Harley Fat Boy motorcycle which was his pride and joy and his trips with Dalynn to Maine where they could enjoy lobster and cherished visits with friends. Brian's dry wit and sense of humor will be greatly missed by his family, friends and business associates and his beloved K9 companion Mocha who was his "Velcro dog".

In addition to his wife Dalynn, Brian is survived by his son Christopher of Canastota, NY, granddaughter, Ashley and daughter Kelly Moyer of Madison and granddaughter Mackenzie. He is also survived by a beloved cousin, Garry Ward of Florida who was like a brother to him.
