Barbara Jean Porter Barbara Jean Porter, born on April 21st, 1941, ascended upon her journey home to be with the good Lord on July 10th at 5:57 pm.
BJ was warm in bed, surrounded by her family. Her spiritual transition was the result of Cardio Pulmonary Arrest. BJ is survived in death by her oldest daughter Brenda Cook married to Michael Cook, her youngest son Bryan Conger, her youngest daughter Lisa Prater, her grandchildren Brandy Morton married to Jeremy Goforth, Jordan Prater married to Kelsey Prater, and Megan Porter married to Darin Porter, great grandchildren include Annalise Prater, Jayzier Morton, Jozelyn Morton, Jaxzen Goforth, Kaydence Prater, Emma Prater, Axel Prater, and Maddalynn Prater.
BJ has been proceeded in death by mother and father Lela and Ira Tucker, her three brothers Eddie, Jerry, and Ronald Tucker, and her oldest son Keenan Conger. BJ was courageous, inspirational, and beautiful inside and out! She did many things throughout her time on this planet, such as working at General Motors. She overcame many obstacles and is a true warrior of God. Her hobbies included gardening, crafting, painting, reading, and spending time with the ones she loves. She will be so greatly missed by all that knew and love her. Until we meet again…. My Guardian Angel
