Rock Hill, South Carolina - Melvin Richard Wells, 65, passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Piedmont Medical Center.
Mr. Wells was born in Rock Hill, SC, and was the son of the late Sam Wells and the late Josephine Morgan Wells. He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. He enjoyed NASCAR racing and football. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wells was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Thomasson and brothers, Roger Wells and David Wells
The service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Eastside Baptist Church, with Rev. Jerry Devinney officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park – Cherry Road.
Mr. Wells is survived by his wife, Kimberly Littlefield Wells; his two daughters, Cindy (Robert) Filion of Rock Hill, SC and Heather Wells of Rock Hill, SC; his brother, Dennis Wells of GA; his sister, Denise Wells Browning of Rock Hill, SC; his four grandchildren, Brandon Musser, Makenzie Musser, Isabella Musser and Nathan Filion and his great-grandchild, Greyson Smith.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm-7:30 pm on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at Greene Funeral Home Downtown Chapel, 355 East White Street, Rock Hill, SC.
