Andrea Faith Williams, age 42 of Mt. Ulla, left for heavenly home on Saturday, July 10, 2021 surrounded by her loving family and close friends. She was welcomed with open arms by her sister, Holly Williams Faulkner and both her maternal and paternal grandparents, who all preceded her to heaven. Andrea fought a courageous battle with cancer for 2 ½ years and was such a strong fighter. She fought the fierce battle but now she is pain free and where there is no more pain or suffering. Andrea was a 1997 graduate of West Rowan High School. She was a loving and compassionate person who loved caring for others and did so working as a caregiver prior to her becoming ill. Her zest for life and her love for others were some of her most memorable traits. She loved caring for her animals, ride horses and absolutely loved back road adventures. She would let God lead her path as to where those adventures led. She was never alone, as her four-legged companion, Case was ALWAYS by her side. Andrea could be found helping her Dad with assembly spray bars, she never minded helping out and didn't mind getting dirty in the process. She had AMAZING faith and knew when her time came to leave her earthly home, where she was going. What a glorious homecoming… Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, Ken and Cindy Williams; her sister, Kendal Diane Williams and her nieces, Ansley Brooke Faulkner and McKenzie Grace Faulkner along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and too many friends to count. She also leaves behind her precious fur baby and constant companion, Case. A Gathering of Friends and Family will be on Friday, July 16, 2021 from 1:00 – 2:00pm at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will follow in the Chapel at 2:00pm officiated by her uncle, Bill Wherritt. Inurnment at West Lawn Memorial Park will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested you kindly remember Andrea with memorials in her honor to St. Jude's Hospital at www.stjude.org.
