Russell F. Abdulla, 84, of Canton, died Tuesday at Altercare of Canton, after a brief illness.
A life resident of Canton, he attended St. John's Grade School and McKinley High School. He was retired from Republic Steel after 40 years of service. He was the treasurer of the Republic Steel Credit Union, and had been associated with Abdulla Realty. Russell was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, where he served as head usher. He was a World War II Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by daughter, Patricia Leeper; grandsons, Tony Leeper and Jeffrey John Abdulla; and brothers, Albert and Robert Abdulla.
