Dorothy Jean Ritenour Majchszak, 60, of Elyria, OH, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 9, 2021, at University Hospitals of Elyria, following a courageous battle with breast cancer.
She was born in Connellsville, PA, on August 26, 1960, to her loving parents, Reid and Dorothy Ritenour Sr.
Dorothy attended Elyria West High School with the Class of 1978. She worked in retail management, and she loved it.
She loved the Lord Jesus Christ, and she attended Christ Church. She loved to learn, she loved to read, and she loved attending classes at LCCC where she was an honor student. She cherished her time with her daughter, Nicole, whom she loved with all of her heart.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Nicole Majchszak; beloved mother, Dorothy Ritenour; beloved brothers, Reid D. Jr., Charles (Anita), Steve, Ron (Jennifer) and John Ritenour; beloved sisters, Betty (Jay) and Sue Ritenour; and many beloved uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She will be dearly missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her father, Reid D. Ritenour Sr., in 2020.
