James loved the Lord serving at Westside Baptist Church and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. The joy in his life was his wife, Marie, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Bro. James was preceded in death by his parents; son, Calvin Wayne Elmore; five siblings, Amos Elmore, Ricky Elmore, Tony Elmore, Patsy Cantrell, and Randy Elmore; and step-daughter, Georgia Browder.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Marie Wallett Hardy Elmore of Haynesville, LA; Jimmy Elmore and wife Kim of Bossier City, LA; step-son, Steve Hardy; step-daughter, Dana Clark; sister, Betty Joyce Newman; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Elmore, Paul Elmore, Connor Cloinger, Donny Camp, Mike Walker and Dustin Hunter.
